How do I Hire a vehicle?
Hiring a vehicle couldn’t be easier. Simply opt to book online, telephone, or drop into our offices at Llandudno Junction. We will need your name, address, and contact telephone number. Payment can be made by credit or debit card only.
Collecting a vehicle?
Collection is at any time from 8am. You can nominate your actual time of collection/hire period at the time of booking (The return time of the vehicle will be the same at when is was collected. e.g. pick-up at 11am, return by 11am). You must be able to show a current UK photo driving licence plus National Insurance Number for each driver. We will also ask for a recent utility bill as proof of address (If you are moving home proof of the new address will be required). A pre-authorised security deposit payment of £300 will be held, and released on return of the vehicle.
Are there any restrictions?
Most of our vehicles require a driver to be between the ages of 25-70, and have held a full UK driving licence for a minimum of two years. Driving endorsements must be made known at the time of booking and will be considered on an individual basis.
7-9 Seat MPVs – Drivers to be between the ages of 25-70, and have held a full UK driving licence for a minimum of five years
10-19 Seat Minibuses - Drivers to be between the ages of 25-70, and hold a full UK driving licence including a Category D1E.
What is the minimum/maximum amount of time can I hire a vehicle for?
You can hire a vehicle from 1 to 90 days for collection/return Mon-Sat. Sunday collections are available by arrangement.
Returning a vehicle?
You would need to return your vehicle at the same time of day as collection + period of hire. (e.g. If you collected your vehicle at 10am, then you would need to return your vehicle by 10am at the end of your hire period) Late returns are charged per hour. The vehicle will be quickly checked over by you the driver, and a member of our team. Please ensure the fuel is at the same level as when you collected the vehicle.
What types of vehicles can I hire?
We have a varied range of vehicles, both manual and automatic available to hire. Our cars range from small budget hatchbacks, versatile SUV’s and premium executive. Our range of vans start at small budget, medium, large and Luton. Browse our website for the full fleet, availability and pricing.
Built-In - Optional Extras?
Most of our cars are equipped with a range of extras such as air conditioning, Apple Carplay/Android Auto, and Sat-Nav. Exact vehicle specifications are available to view at the time of quotation. We have a range of children’s car/booster seats available.
Do we have roadside assistance?
We hope that you will never need roadside assistance, but for your peace of mind, AA Roadside comes as standard with every vehicle hire.
Do I need to take out car insurance?
No, you don’t need to take out insurance. We provide cover within the cost of your car hire. There is a damage waiver, which of course you can purchase additional protection for at the time of booking. This option will greatly reduce the excess and so give you complete peace of mind.
What can I expect from my rental vehicle?
Lime Vehicle Hire have one of the youngest fleet of cars within the area. Expect clean, smoke free, trust and road worthy condition. We personally inspect the vehicle with you, both before and after collection/return to establish any wear and tear and explain what is classed as damage.
